City Centre Apartment - Parking - Smart TV - WIFI

Worn, tired, smelly flat Positive: The location was good - mostly quiet and only 15min walk to the Bullring shopping centre and main activities. Negative: Where do I even start… first and foremost, the key wasn’t available at the property but had to be collected from someone else’s property across the park. That was not ideal with all my suitcases. Thankfully it wasn’t raining. Then the previous guest had allegedly lost the entrance fob, so I could only access the flat via the balcony. So yes, I was getting in and out of the flat via the balcony (ground floor flat). This alone did not make me feel safe in the property. As I entered the space, I got hit by a strong smell of smoke. The soft furnishing, curtains and cushions had absorbed the smell of whoever was there before and a smoker. The flat also did not resemble the photos and looked tired and worn. I called the management company straight away, but only got excuses and that “they could come around and try to clear up the smell for me.” Since there were a dew big events on that weekend in Birmingham, there were zero alternative options for accommodation. The last insult was an offer of 15% discount when I stay with them next, instead of sorting the issues out with this stay. Won’t be staying again and would not recommend. Booking in good time can find other options that are better value for money.

The stay was great! Positive: The property had a front porch and had a nice park in front of it. It was close to main centre so shops were easily accessible. Negative: Some things on property were damaged.

Peaceful Positive: Very comfortable and relaxing. I enjoyed my peace and quiet. Negative: Property was fine, door was damaged but other than that nothing I would change.

Positive: It was such a lovely apartment! Had everything we needed in there! So clean, peaceful and just all round lovely stay
